WHY NIBCO?

Every person who makes a decision to install a sanitary system must at the same time decide whether to use metal or plastic components.

This technological alternative is determined by many factors. NIBCO PVC-C and PVC-U sanitary systems are optimal for both hot- and cold-water distribution systems and they meet all possible demands of investors, constructors and users, for it is both durable and highly reliable.

ADVANTAGES OF NIBCO SOLVENT CEMENTING INSTALLATIONS

Excellent fire retardant properties. The flash point of PVC-U is about 390 ° C, while in the case of PVC-C it reaches even 433 ° C. The LOI (Limitting Oxygen Index) for PVC-U is 40, and for PVC-C is 60. This means that these materials require 40% oxygen (PVC-U) and 60% (PVC-C FlowGuard®) respectively when burning. ). In the Earth's atmosphere the oxygen content is 21%, so NIBCO installations do not support the burning process and when they are removed from the fire source, they automatically extinguished. When burning, especially PVC-C, small amounts of smoke are emitted, and the toxicity of emitted substances to the environment is not greater than when burning wood.

Resistance to more than 300 chemical compounds, which allows sending in addition to water, also many other liquids, such as: alcohol, fruit juices, milk, edible oils and several hundred chemical compounds. For this reason, NIBCO installations are successfully used in industrial plants.

Resistance to corrosion and sedimentation. NIBCO systems are chemically, physically and bacteriologically inert to the water flowing through them.

One of the smallest linear expansion coefficients among plastic installations.

The lowest coefficient of thermal conductivity among materials used in sanitary installations, which minimizes the necessity of using additional insulation insulations.

Simple assembly requiring only scissors and glue (no need for threaders, welders, soldering irons). Installation in hard-to-reach places (eg in shafts) is not a problem. The installation does not require supplying the construction site with electricity.

Increased resistance to impact at low temperatures (applies to PVC-C).
